Australian company Flight Centre is now the sole owner of Boston-based Garber’s Travel Service.

Flight Centre on Sunday acquired the remaining 74% of Garber’s that it didn’t already own, in a $10.4 million deal. Flight Centre acquired a 26% interest in Garber’s in 2007.

Garber’s is part of Flight Centre’s corporate travel management business, FCm Travel Solutions. Graham Turner, Flight Centre’s managing director, said the acquisition gives FCm a larger footprint in the U.S.

"In the U.S., we have a comprehensive and profitable corporate offering that includes FCm offices in Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Dallas, Chicago, Boston, New York and Washington," Turner said.

Besides its corporate travel business, Flight Centre’s holdings in the U.S. include travel agency Liberty Travel and wholesaler Gogo Worldwide Vacations.

Flight Centre USA was No. 9 on Travel Weekly’s 2010 Power List.
