Omaha, Neb.-based Travel and Transport, No. 12 on Travel Weekly's 2012 Power List, has revamped its brand.

The travel agency updated its logo and website, and divisions that had operated under other brands are now under Travel and Transport umbrella.

Three divisions — Meeting Trends, Loyalty Innovations and Travel and Transport Vacations — will now be under the Travel and Transport name.

The rebranding initiative does not include Ultramar Travel Management, an agency that Travel & Transport acquired in October. Ultramar will continue to operate under its own brand.

Travel and Transport began its rebranding initiative in the first quarter of 2012.

TravelAndTransport-logo“We were fragmented in our marketing efforts,” said Bill Tech, president and CEO of Travel and Transport. “We needed to step back and bring our company under one umbrella and focus on one consistent brand message.”

The website revamp included making it easier for travelers to access information through mobile devices.

The new logo has a “logo bug” that represents land, sea and sky.

Travel and Transport, Inc., founded in 1946, is 100% employee owned.
