Deputy Secretary of Commerce Rebecca Blank appointed six new members to the Travel and Tourism Advisory Board, a 32-member body of industry executives who advise the department on travel and tourism issues.

The new members are:

• Brian Mullis, founder and CEO, Sustainable Travel International, White Salmon, Wash.
• Trudy Rautio, president and CEO, Carlson, Minneapolis, Minn.
• Ingrid Rivera Rocafort, executive director, Puerto Rico Tourism Co., San Juan
• Sherry Rupert, vice president, American Indian Alaska Native Tourism Association, Albuquerque, N.M.
• William Talbert, president and CEO, Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau, Miami
• Betsy Wall, executive director, Massachusetts Office of Travel and Tourism, Boston.

In addition to the industry representatives, four cabinet officers — the Secretaries of State, Interior, Transportation and Homeland Security — serve as ex-officio members.
