The travel industry’s umbrella lobbying organization, the U.S. Travel Association, said it was looking forward to working with President Obama and Congress on a broad range of issues affecting travel, including immigration and tax policy, visa reform and infrastructure spending, among others.
In a industry letter on the day after the election, U.S. Travel President Roger Dow said that while Washington remains “deeply divided,” the travel industry is “uniquely bipartisan."
"We have and will continue to build strong working relationships with members of both political parties,” he said.
