Affinia Chicago to be renamed MileNorth

Affinia ChicagoLowe Enterprises Investors (LEI) has acquired the 213-room Affinia Chicago Hotel from Denihan Hospitality Group. No purchase price was disclosed.

LEI’s affiliate, Destination Hotels & Resorts, will reflag the hotel as MileNorth.

The hotel, which is one block from the city’s Magnificent Mile, has 3,000 square feet of meeting space as well as a restaurant and rooftop bar.

LEI owns the Embassy Suites Chicago-North Shore Deerfield.

Denihan has five Affinia-branded hotels in New York City, including the Affinia Dumont and Affinia Shelburne. Denihan also operates the James Chicago.
