Hilton Worldwide has reached
agreements for the first hotels under its new Canopy by Hilton brand.
Canopy hotels will open in Chicago, Minneapolis, New Orleans, Dallas, Baltimore, Denver, Washington, and Palm Beach, Fla.
The company didn’t disclose details on when these hotels
would open or how large they would be. Hilton says it has more than 20 Canopy hotels “in
various stages of development.”
Hilton announced the lifestyle
brand last October, and said this summer that the world’s first Canopy hotel
would open in Reykjavik, Iceland, early next year.
