Courtyard by Marriott to open on Maui in June

By Shane Nelson
Construction of the Courtyard Maui Kahului Airport is scheduled for completion this summer, enabling the 128-room property to welcome its first guests in June.

Developers broke ground on the $16.5 million project last spring.

Located on 3.35 acres just over a mile from Maui’s Kahului Airport, the property will feature complimentary Internet access in every guestroom; an outdoor pool; 1,663 square feet of meetings space; a fitness center; and a Bistro restaurant with breakfast, lunch and dinner menus.

The Kahului hotel brings Marriott’s Courtyard property total in Hawaii to four, including the Courtyard Kauai at Coconut Beach, the Courtyard King Kamehameha Kona Beach Hotel on the Big Island and the Courtyard Waikiki Beach.
