Disney sales executive to retire

Ed Fouche, a senior vice president of travel industry sales for Disney Parks and Resorts, is retiring this month.

Fouche leads sales efforts for the Disney World and Disneyland parks, Disney Cruise Line, Adventures by Disney and the Aulani resort in Hawaii. He has been with Disney for nearly 25 years.

He currently serves on the board of directors for Visit Florida, the state’s tourism-marketing organization. Fouche has served two terms as chairman of Visit Florida.

Florida Gov. Rick Scott recently presented Fouche a Business Ambassador Award, which is given to standouts who have significantly impacted the industry they represent.
