The Hyatt Regency in Tampa has been reflagged as a Hilton. The hotel will receive upgrades to guestrooms, the lobby and food-and-beverage facilities.
The 521-room hotel will be temporarily renamed Hotel Tampa until the renovations are completed next year, after which the property will become the Hilton Tampa Downtown.
The hotel, which was built in 1982, has 30,000 square feet of meeting space as well as a pool, fitness center and an on-site Starbucks. Follow Danny King on Twitter @dktravelweekly.
