The Baltimore area’s third hotel under Hilton’s Embassy Suites brand has opened at the site of the old Tremont Plaza Hotel on Baltimore’s Inner Harbor.

The Embassy Suites Baltimore-Downtown, which was redeveloped by Garrison Investment Group and Chartres Lodging Group, has 300 guestrooms.

The property, which is managed by Kokua Hospitality, adjoins Baltimore’s 147-year-old Grand Historic Venue, which offers 45,000 square feet of meeting space.
