Four Seasons hotels open in Shanghai, Baku

Four Seasons has opened its second Shanghai hotel as well as its first in Azerbaijan.

The 187-room Four Seasons Pudong Shanghai is in a 55-story building known locally as the “Jewel Box.”

Four Seasons is opening three hotels in China this year, including the Four Seasons Beijing, slated to debut later this month.

The Four Seasons Baku, Azerbaijan includes 171 guestrooms as well as four restaurants and bars.

Azerbaijan sits on the Caspian Sea and is bordered by Russia, Turkey and Iran. Baku, the country’s capital, has about 2 million people.

A JW Marriott hotel opened in Baku earlier this summer. Fairmont is set to open its first hotel in Baku later this year.
