Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts will open hotels in Toronto and Shanghai this summer.
The Toronto hotel replaces one that opened in 1978 and closed in late March. (The Four Seasons brand made its debut in Toronto in 1961.)
Four Seasons is putting the finishing touches on the 55-story, 259-room hotel, which will feature a 30,000-square-foot spa and a Daniel Boulud restaurant.
The Four Seasons Pudong in Shanghai will have 187 rooms and an executive club on the 35th floor.
Four Seasons already operates hotels in Hong Kong, Macau and Hangzhou. It plans to open a Guangzhou hotel later this year.
