Hard Rock International is reflagging the Hotel Zoso in downtown Palm Springs, Calif. A rebranding is scheduled to occur this fall, following a renovation.
It will be Hard Rock's second California property; it also has a hotel in San Diego.
The Hard Rock Hotel Palm Springs will have 160 rooms as well as almost 21,000 square feet of meetings space.
Hard Rock International has 18 hotels worldwide, including properties in Las Vegas, Chicago and Orlando.
The company last month pitched a hotel-casino project for West Springfield, Mass., that would have as many as 500 rooms and a 200,000-square-foot casino.
