Holiday Inn Express hotels are scheduled to open in Managua, Nicaragua, and Tegucigalpa, Honduras, in 2014.
"Both cites are generating great demand for internationally branded hotels," said Joel Eisemann, chief development officer in the Americas for InterContinental Hotels Group, parent of Holiday Inn Express.
Each hotel will have 110 guestrooms.
