Hyatt Regency Louisville gets an update

By Felicity Long
The 393-room Hyatt Regency Louisville unveiled a $5.8 million renovation, the largest in the 34-year-old hotel’s history.

The property was closed only briefly during the construction, from Dec. 18 to 30.

Renovation highlights include a new restaurant called Sway, serving Southern fare and featuring a bar with open-air access to the Fourth Street entertainment district; a new 1,200-square-foot Hyatt Stay Fit fitness center; and a revamped lobby with a customized glass wall designed by a local artist.

The VIP suite is priced from $319 per night.
