Hyatt flagship brand debuts in India with five hotels

By Danny King
Hyatt has debuted its flagship brand in India with the reflagging of five hotels totaling more than 900 rooms.

The rebranded hotels include the 143-room Hyatt Bangalore MG Road; the 166-room Hyatt Hyderabad Gachibowli; the 209-room Hyatt Pune; the 178-room Ahmedabad; and the 248-room Amritsar.

Previous to the reflaggings, Hyatt had seven hotels in India: three Park Hyatts, two Grand Hyatts and two Hyatt Regency hotels. An additional Hyatt Regency is slated to open in Ludhiana later this year.
