Hyatt inks five-hotel deal in India

Hyatt has arranged to double its presence in India, agreeing to operate five hotels due to open between mid-2010 and early 2014.

Indian real estate developer DB Hospitality will develop and own all the hotels. The deal calls for a Park Hyatt Mumbai, Grand Hyatt Goa, Grand Hyatt Pune, Hyatt Place Pune and Hyatt Place Mundra.

Hyatt already manages five properties in India, including in Mumbai and Goa.
