A 380-room JW Marriott hotel and casino is scheduled to open in early 2016 on the island of Providenciales in Turks and Caicos.

The property will be the first hotel on Providenciales to have an on-site casino.

Providenciales currently has the Casablanca Casino, a stand-alone casino offering slot machines and gaming tables.

In addition to the 901-square-foot casino, the JW Marriott will have a gourmet restaurant, a restaurant open for three meals, a lobby bar and lounge, a pool bar and grill, meeting space, a spa and fitness center, a kids club and three pools.

The nine-story JW resort will include 16 residential condos on an 11-acre site on Grace Bay Beach.
