Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants’ regional vice president, Ron Vlasic, was named chairman of the American Lodging & Hotel Association (AH&LA).
Vlasic, who oversees Kimpton’s Midwest and Northwest regions, has served as the AH&LA’s vice chair and on the board of the Illinois Hotel & Lodging Association.
He succeeds Nancy Johnson, executive vice president of development for Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group’s Americas region.
