Making waves at Moon Palace in Cancun

By Gay Nagle Myers
Moon Palace Cancun FlowRider DoublePalace Resorts’ Moon Palace Golf and Spa Resort in Cancun launched its new FlowRider Double, a wave simulator designed to give users a taste of surf action.

The attraction is part of a multimillion-dollar upgrade at the property.

The FlowRider Double pumps thousands of gallons of water to create two lanes of endless waves. Visitors can carve a turn, do maneuvers and cut back.

Kids can bodyboard on the FlowRider, while the more adventurous guests can use the standup flowboards (small surfboards).

“This is another addition to our ongoing quest to improve the all-inclusive experience for our guests,” said Gibran Chapur, executive vice president. “As a company, we are always looking for innovative ways to redefine the all-inclusive concept.”

The FlowRider Double is the latest addition to Palace Resorts’ growing menu of family-focused amenities, branded under the Family Connections concept.
