Maslow Hotel opens in Johannesburg

Sun International opened a hotel in Johannesburg, South Africa, Jan. 7 after a yearlong, $28 million renovation. The 281-room Maslow Hotel, formerly the Grayston, was closed during the redo. Upgrades include a remodel of the hotel’s facade as well as a complete refurbishment of all guestrooms, interior public areas, food and beverage outlets and the conference facilities. The gardens, including the pool and terraced seating, were also revamped.
Room rates range from $302 for a double room to $880 for an executive suite. Prices include a full English breakfast.
