Melia Hotels International plans to open its first two Innside by Melia hotels in Spain in early 2013. Both will be in Madrid.
Innside by Melia is an urban lifestyle brand with nine hotels in Germany; Melia acquired the brand in 2007.
The 65-room Innside Madrid Genova will feature a library lounge that serves drinks and snacks. The 43-room Innside Madrid Luchana will have a rooftop bar.
Other Innside hotels are in development in Copenhagen, Denmark; Manchester, England; Hamburg, Dusseldorf and Essen, Germany; and Barcelona.
