Mirbeau reveals plans for New England hotel, its first

Mirbeau inked a deal to buy a six-acre parcel of land in the Pinehills Village Green in Plymouth, Mass., its first Mirbeau Inn & Spa in New England.

The Inn will feature 50 rooms; a restaurant, wine bar and bistro; a full-service spa with fireplaces; a fitness center; and a special events venues as well as gardens inspired by Monet’s retreat in Giverny, France.

Pinehills boasts the only two five-star public courses in New England designed by Nicklaus Design and Rees Jones, according to Tony Green, managing partner, Pinehills LLC. The planned residential, commercial and retail community is located 45 miles from Boston and eight miles from Cape Cod.

Mirbeau’s sister property is located in New York’s Finger Lakes region.
