Morgans Hotel Group reached agreements to expand its Delano and Mondrian brands outside of the U.S. after reaching a similar agreement for its Hudson brand last week.

Morgans said a 73-room Delano will open in Marrakech, Morocco, in September, while a 68-room Mondrian will open in that city late next year.

New York-based Morgans reached 15-year management agreements with developer Hivernage Collection for both hotels.

The Delano Marrakech, which will be located in Marrakech's Hivernage District, will have a 20,000-square-foot spa, a roof deck and an underground nightclub.

"This collaboration signifies Morgans Hotel Group's entry into North Africa, and we are thrilled to be one of the first U.S.-based hotel companies to extend our brand portfolio to the dynamic city of Marrakech," Morgans CEO Michael Gross said in a statement.

Last week, the company said it would expand its Hudson brand outside of the U.S. with the opening of the 200-room Hudson London in 2015. Morgans opened the 834-room Hudson New York in 2000.

The Delano Marrakech will be just the second Delano in the world. The 194-room Delano South Beach opened in 1995. That hotel completed upgrades earlier this year.

The Mondrian in Marrakech will be the second non-U.S. Mondrian after the Mondrian Hotel Doha, which is slated to open in Qatar early next year.

Morgans reached agreements late last year for two Mondrian hotels in London and Istanbul. The hotels are due to open in 2014. Another Mondrian in the Bahamas is also scheduled to open that year.
