The first Park Hyatt hotel has opened in China, in the eastern coastal city of Ningbo.
Park Hyatt Ningbo Resort and Spa, created in the style of a traditional Chinese water village, offers 236 guestrooms, including 10 free-standing villas. It also features more than 14,000 square feet of event space, including a ballroom that can accommodate up to 400 people.
Along with the design of the resort, the city of Ningbo also inspired the resort’s signature restaurant, Seafood House.
Other dining options are the Tea House, which serves teas and desserts in the afternoon and cocktails at night, and the Dining Room, where Western cuisine and Chinese comfort food are served.
For recreation, the resort offers the Fitness Pavilion and the Yue Hu Spa. The Fitness Pavilion houses fitness a gym, steam rooms and an outdoor infinity pool.
