Priceline’s third-quarter profit jumped 27% from a year earlier, as the world’s largest online travel agency continued to rapidly boost bookings overseas.

Priceline’s net income rose 27% to $596.6 million from $469.5 million, the company said Thursday afternoon. Overseas gross bookings, excluding currency effects, jumped 41%, while U.S. bookings were up 7.2%.

Overall, Priceline’s third-quarter revenue rose 17% from a year earlier to $1.71 billion.
