The 807-room Renaissance Washington, D.C. Downtown has completed a $30 million renovation, which included upgrades and the redesign of its guest rooms.

Owner Sunstone Hotels has updated the rooms with modern furniture, LED lighting and wall coverings depicting the capital city’s historic events.

The hotel was built at 9th and K streets in 1989.
