Hotels Report: $900 million offer made for Four Seasons New York By Danny King / November 06, 2012 Share 1 -- The owner of the Four Seasons Hotel New York has received a $900 million purchase offer for the 369-room hotel, the Wall Street Journal reported, citing unidentified people “briefed” on the process.Hotel owner and billionaire Ty Warner, who made his fortune making and selling Beanie Babies, told Four Seasons that he received an offer from a prospective buyer whose identity wasn’t disclosed. Warner bought the Midtown Manhattan hotel in 1999, the Journal said.At $900 million, the property would sell for $2.44 million a room. Four Seasons declined to comment on the offer.
