Hilton Worldwide's DoubleTree brand has opened its first hotel in South Africa, the DoubleTree by Hilton Cape Town – Upper Eastside.
The 183-room franchised hotel is in Cape Town’s Woodstock district. The property includes a restaurant, a bar, a gym and a meeting room that can accommodate as many as 350 people.
Hilton, which has more than 330 DoubleTree properties worldwide, plans to add 60 this year, most of them in North America.
