Starck-designed hotel planned for Bali

By Felicity Long
The Stairs Villa Hotel, set to break ground this year in Seminyak, Bali, will be French designer Philippe Starck’s first venture in Indonesia. The property, which will feature 12 villas with floor-to-ceiling glass facades, will be located in Seminyak's Petitenget neighborhood. Public spaces will include a cafe patisserie, restaurant, bar lounge, boutique, mezzanine library, spa and workout facilities.
The Stairs is a project of the DeCiazini Group, a privately held French investment, development and management firm.
