SuperClubs Chairman John Issa is in negotiations to sell the 280-room Hedonism II in Negril, Jamaica to an international investor group called Marshmallow Ltd.

Marshmallow is a new company headed by majority stockholder Harry Williams, Jon Gross of UnWind Travel (Fluffernutters), the John Issa family and current general manager Kevin Levee.

The group said that a smooth transition of ownership will follow when the deal is concluded, with no interruption of operations.

All reservations and tour operator contracts will be honored. The property will not be rebranded.

“Hedonism II is the ultimate gem in its market, not only because of its ideal location on the seven-mile beach in Negril but also because it is the storied resort that all its competitors attempt to live up to. Hedonism II is an important part of my contribution to tourism, and I am happy to be in discussions so that it will be preserved for many years to come," Issa said.

Marshmallow has a $10 million renovation plan for Hedonism II, including room renovations, which will begin when negotiations are completed.
