Thompson Hotels on Feb. 1 will open its first London hotel, the Belgraves, in the city’s Belgravia district.
The hotel, which Thompson co-developed with Hong Kong-based Harilela Group, will have 85 rooms and include the Hix Belgravia, a restaurant by U.K.-based chef and food writer Mark Hix.
Room rates will start at about $525 a night.
Thompson’s other properties include New York’s 60 Thompson and Los Angeles’ Hollywood Roosevelt. Last fall, the company merged with San Francisco-based Joie de Vivre Hospitality to give both companies a broader presence across the U.S.
