Three Ramada hotels set to open in Peru

By Gay Nagle Myers
Wyndham Hotel Group will open three new Ramada hotels in Peru on May 10 as part of a franchise agreement with Hoteles Costa del Sol.

"These new properties serve as a prime example of how we intend to significantly grow our presence across Latin America by affiliating existing portfolios and national hotel chains in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Peru and Mexico, which are our key growth markets," said Daniel del Olmo, Wyndham Hotel Group's senior vice president and managing director of Latin America.

The new properties are the 55-room Ramada Costa del Sol Tumbes in Tumbes (northwestern Peru, near the Ecuador border), the 82-room Ramada Costa del Sol Chiclayo in northern Peru and the 77-room Ramad Costa del Sol Cusco in Cusco.

There is one other Ramada in Peru, the 130-room Ramada Costa de Sol Lima Airport.
