The Tides Sugar Beach in St. Lucia, formerly the Jalousie Plantation, will become the Sugar Beach, a Viceroy Resort, following the completion of a renovation later this year.

The Tides Zihuatanejo, on Mexico’s Pacific coast, will be known as the Viceroy Zihuatanejo later this month.

Viceroy's three brands are Viceroy, Tides and Urban Retreats.

“Converting the Tides properties into Viceroy is an exciting step for our company, and 2012 is important for expansion and renovations,” said Nicholas Clayton, Viceroy Hotel Group president.
