Viceroy reaches deal for another Istanbul hotel

Viceroy Hotels Group will make its European debut with the opening of the Viceroy Istanbul late next year.

The property will be part of the Nef Bebekoy development in one of the city’s upscale districts, and its 58 hotel rooms will be spread across 10 buildings on 16 acres. The hotel will include two restaurants and will have views of the Bosphorus.

Viceroy had previously reached an agreement to operate what will be the Viceroy Bodrum, though that hotel isn’t slated to open until 2014.

Viceroy in February entered the New York market when it took over management of the Cassa Hotel in midtown Manhattan,
