Starwood Hotels & Resorts’ W brand will debut in Israel when the W Tel Aviv – Jaffa opens in 2015.
The hotel will be built within a 19th century building in Jaffa, a coastal district just south of central Tel Aviv. The hotel will have 125 rooms as well as 38 residences ranging from 800 to 5,000 square feet.
W's only Middle East hotel opened in Doha, Qatar, in 2009, though Starwood plans to add W hotels in Jordan, Oman, Abu Dhabi and Dubai by 2016.
