Westin hotel to be part of riverfront development in Delaware

A Westin hotel will be built as part of the Riverfront Wilmington entertainment and retail district along the Christina River in Wilmington, Del.

The 180-room hotel will cost $37 million to build. The property will be connected to the Chase Center, which has 87,000 square feet of public meeting space.

Starwood Hotels & Resorts will manage the hotel.
