Norwegian Cruise Line names top partners for 2013

Norwegian Cruise Line named its top travel partners for 2013, awarding its Elite Agency of the Year honors to World Travel Holdings.

Norwegian said its criteria for the award are an agency’s ongoing commitment to Norwegian’s success, its overall revenue, continued growth and loyalty to the brand.

In other categories, Avoya Travel was named online agency partner of the year, CruiseOne/Cruises Inc. was named home-based agency of the year and Cruise Planners was honored as franchise agency of the year.

Other honorees included Tourico of Altamonte Springs, Fla., for retail agency of the year and Virtuoso for top consortium.
