Jetsetter's board has asked CEO and co-founder Drew Patterson to step down, the company said Tuesday.
Jetsetter, a luxury travel deal site, is a subsidiary of the Gilt Groupe.
A Gilt spokeswoman said that Rob Deeming has been appointed acting general manager. Deeming has been with Gilt for more than three years in a variety of roles, the spokeswoman said, most recently heading up its U.K. operations.
According to BetaBeat.com, the decision was based on poor employee morale at Jetsetter, and the threat of a mass exodus following the departure of six senior executives.
