After just two months on the job, Mitch Marcus has quit as Orbitz Worldwide’s CFO to “pursue other opportunities,” Orbitz stated in a Securities and Exchange Commission filing.
David Belmont was appointed interim CFO, a position he has occupied before.
Belmont, Orbitz’s group vice president of financial planning and analysis, was named interim CFO last June, after Russell Hammer left the company after occupying the CFO job for less than 18 months.
Belmont vacated the interim CFO position last November, when Marcus was hired.
