Travelocity unloads Las Vegas ticket retailer

By Jerry Limone

Travelocity has sold Travelocity on Location, a retailer of Las Vegas event tickets and tours, to Entertainment Benefits Group for an undisclosed amount.

Entertainment Benefits Group has renamed the business Tickets & Tours, which has 30 locations throughout Las Vegas.

As part of the agreement, Entertainment Benefits Group will be the provider of Las Vegas activities to Travelocity.com.

In 2004, Travelocity bought the business, then known as All State Tours, for $25 million.

Miami-based Entertainment Benefits Group operates a vacation and welcome center near Walt Disney World in Orlando. It also has web brands such as Showtickets.com, TicketsAtWork.com and BestOfVegas.com.
