TripAdvisor’s third-quarter profit rose 9% largely on revenue from its websites overseas.
Net income increased to $59.4 million from $54.3 million a year earlier, the travel-review website said.
TripAdvisor increased its revenue outside of the U.S. and U.K. by 37% to $76.7 million, while U.S. revenue rose 10% to $105.6 million.
Overall, TripAdvisor’s revenue rose 18% from a year earlier to $212.7 million.
TripAdvisor was spun off by online travel agency Expedia last December.
