For 2013, General Tours World Traveler has added Borneo, Sri Lanka, Nicaragua and Zimbabwe to its destination offering.

General Tours has also added the option to trek Peru’s Inca trail.

The additions bring to 74 the number of small-group journeys, and to 39 the number of private tours General Tours offers around the globe. For the small-group journeys, General Tours permits a maximum of 16 guests per departure.

“We have seen strong, growing demand for trips to exotic destinations like India, Africa and Southeast Asia, and interest in Latin America has skyrocketed this year. We’ve built our new 2013 programs with these trends in mind,” General Tours President Bob Drumm said in a statement.
