For 2013,
Trafalgar has introduced an itinerary that takes travelers to World War I and World War II battlefields and museums throughout Western Europe.
The 12-day WWI & WWII Battlefields tour starts in London and ends in Amsterdam. In France, the tour stops in Caen, Amiens, Paris and Lilles. There will be daytrips to Somme, France; Ypres, Belgium; and Portsmouth, England.
In Portsmouth, guests visit the D-Day and the Overlord Embroidery Museum. From there, visitors take the ferry to France, where they tour the D-Day Normandy landing beaches.
Another new tour for 2013 is the nine-day English Country Gardens. Beginning and ending in London, the tour stops at Wisely Gardens, Kew Gardens, Biddenden Vineyards and the Hever Castle Rose Garden.
After visiting Kew Gardens, guests board the Bluebell Railway steam train to travel to the Sheffield Park and Gardens.
At Biddenden Vineyards in Kent, guests will participate in a vineyard walk and wine tasting.
Also in Kent, guests head to Hever Castle for small-group sightseeing, getting the opportunity to chat with gardeners. The trip ends with a visit to the castle's Rose Garden, which contains more than 4,000 roses within its walls.
