Travel Impressions aims to help agents drive sales and go viral in 2013 with its social media presentation at the annual New York Times Travel Show at New York's Jacob Javitz Convention Center on Jan. 18.

Modeled after the tour operator's Social U webinar series, which debuted a year ago, the seminar will offer specifics on using online forums to grow business.

Presented by Susan Black, executive vice president and chief marketing officer for Travel Impressions and creator of the Social U series, and Katie Gorga, senior manager of social media, the seminar will cover free infographics that incorporate travel data, travel tidbits and promotions that agents can use to increase visibility and engage customers.

"There are numerous actionable tips we will provide that can be put into immediate practice regardless of technical proficiency," Black said.

The seminar is set for 2:15 p.m.-3:30 p.m. Agents can sign up for the seminar during the registration process at www.nytravelshow.com.
