Zero-G offers chance to experience weightlessness

By Damon Hodge

On Feb. 27, Zero Gravity Corporations will offer adventurers the opportunity to float freely in complete weightlessness during a flight from McCarran Airport in Las Vegas.

Guests receive pre-flight training to maximize their experience, private transportation to and from McCarran, flight suit and patch, personal photography by a world-class photographer, a post-flight re-gravitation party, a weightless flight award certificate and gifts.

Zero-G replicates the levels of weightlessness on Mars (one-third of Earth's gravity), the moon (one-sixth gravity) and zero gravity. Flights last approximately two hours and deliver 15 separate weightless experiences, each lasting about 30 seconds.

Since launching in September 2004, the company has conducted more than 225 weightless flights and flown 6,000 people, including celebrities and media personalities, corporate charters, science and math teachers.

The Zero-G Experience is $4,950 per seat plus tax. More information can be found by logging on to www.gozerog.com.
