ASTA launched its first mobile app, giving ASTA members access to news, member directories, information on ASTA events and industry alerts.
The free app is available for users of iPhone, Android or Blackberry smartphones.
“We asked our members what they wanted on their mobile devices, and we delivered it," said ASTA CEO Tony Gonchar in a statement. "With this app, every member can have access to their most important information, right at their fingertips.”
The app will allow members to instantly call other members and save their contact information to their device; view upcoming ASTA events and add them to their calendar; receive notifications when special member alerts are sent; and read general information about ASTA.
