Amadeus offers U.S. agents ancillary booking for 13 foreign airlines and Spirit

Amadeus is now offering North American travel agents the ability to book a variety of ancillary services for 14 airlines.

These include options such as priority boarding, prepaid baggage, prepaid meals, airport lounge access.

The carriers are Air Berlin, Belair, Air France, Air New Zealand, Alitalia, Austrian, Corsair, El Al, Finnair, Iberia, Lufthansa, Niki, Scandinavian and Spirit.

Amadeus said it will offer ancillary services for more carriers in 2014. Major U.S. airlines in the works include American, United and Delta, according to Robert Buckman, head of distribution product management for Amadeus North America.
