a host agency that is a sister company to Christopherson Business Travel of Salt Lake City, has introduced an operating platform with a dashboard that brings new efficiencies and capabilities to its independent contractors.
Called AdvisorCare, the technology platform gives agents a variety of ways to track their clients. They can see on a map where their clients are, and click to see their itineraries. They also can see events — be they political or natural — that might affect their clients’ travels.
They can opt to view who is traveling now and who is about to leave for a trip, and adjust the time frame of those views.
AdvisorCare also has widgets to help agents manage their business. AirBank tracks unused airline tickets, and Travel Spend gives agents a graphic of sales based on travel category. Andavo plans to add a commission tracker.
Mike and Camille Cameron, owners of Christopherson Business Travel, bought Andavo in 2010. Last year, the two companies booked $341 million in travel.
Christopherson is a BCD Travel affiliate, and Andavo is a Virtuoso member.
