JetBlue to join ARC on Jan. 30

By Bill Poling

ARC advised travel agents that JetBlue will be activating its participation in the settlement system beginning Saturday, Jan. 30.

The datecoincides with the carrier’s migration to the SabreSonic reservations system, which enables industry-standard e-ticketing.

JetBlue, the largest U.S. carrier that is not an ARC participant, chose ARC’s "general concurrence" method of appointment, which means that all accredited ARC agencies are automatically appointed JetBlue agents unless specifically advised to the contrary by the carrier.
